I've used stihls for 40 yrs. Few problems with the many models I've used.
Took to local dealer for tune up end of summer 2017. After 3 wks, no call back. Was in town, stopped and informed saw needed carb, on order. 3 wks.
later, got saw back but didn't need to use until early Nov. Cost of my tune-up was $170 with carb.
I couldn't start saw, actually clapped it down and pulled it. Never got it started. Had another saw to use so never tried again until today, same result.
Pulled plug, almost closed shut, doesn't appear to be a new plug like I was charged yr.
before. Will take to another dealer tomorrow, probably trade in for another saw.
More upset about costs of repair when asked for tune-up, never called to say costs increasing.
