We have a small lawn & landscape business. Our Professional $400 trimmers keep losing these tiny metal pieces located inside the head which guide the string properly and keep the string in place.

Of COURSE you can't buy have to buy new heads. Not too bad ...only $27 each. BUT the bar wrench needed to fix it isn't sold anywhere to our knowledge. We had 3 bar wrenches that just don't work. Tried to improvise with no luck.

Shouldn't the maintenance tool come with that expensive machine?! Why should we have to purchase every part AND pay to have it repaired? (when under warranty) Warranties mostly cover engines....practically nothing else is covered.

Nevermind we have two trimmers and a $550 backpack blower ( also losing tiny parts) and a chainsaw (no issues so far) and hedge trimmers ( Worx sells better quality hedge trimmers AND WILL REPLACE THEM while under warranty!).....Stihl is supposed to have the best products on the market. That is why we chose them!

Just disgusted since it took many years to even afford all that stuff!

AND there are problems with most of our Stihl equipment losing tiny parts that should be easy to find but are NOT!!!!!

If you use something other than the brand name part .... it voids the warranty....which is pretty worthless anyway.

Product or Service Mentioned: Stihl String Trimmer.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

The wrench to work on all of Stihl's trimmers comes in the box with the item. Every trimmer, chainsaw, etc.

So either what you're stating isn't true (i.e. you lost it) or the dealer you purchased it from forgot to give it to you.
