After buying a new stihl 026 pro I used it several times and it would quit and be extremely hard to get to start. I contacted the dealer I bought it from and they wanted $84 to look at it.
I set it aside and used a small homelite to do what the stihl would not do.
for a couple years I again tried that dealer and another local dealer to have it looked at and it would be cheaper to buy a new one than have that one looked at. I have since found out that these dealers wanted to charge me over $280 for
$30 worth of parts and minimal work.
