Can't find replacement blades

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This company is a joke; you can't buy parts online, can't find them, and they don't deal with customers directly. Been on a hunt for weeks for a set of replacement blades. Called all over and Stihl can't tell us if anyone has them or where to locate them. Don't buy a disposable mower because for $6k you can't even use it! POS company!

Too much politics in ads, black and white push.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Your latest ad showing a black man with a white female and 2 , 50-50 kids does nothing for the product. If you want to make a political woke statement move on. Your wasting co $ pushing an agenda not for the working public. Invest in your product quality instead of pushing woke agenda. GET WITH STIHL !!

Over priced POS

I bought an over $200 POS trimmer. It never trimmed a single bush. Cuts out the moment it goes sideways which is how you trim bushes.

Stihl weedeater bad experience

My dear 80 year old husband who is on oxygen 24/7 bought a weedeater for $129 at Valle Vista home center. He got back and realized the weedeater was too small and inadequate for the huge weeds to tackle.I took it back to Valle Vista still brand new and receipt that he paid for in cash. The management team said they could return his money but subsequently stated that Stihl would not give a refund.Valle Vista told us to charge it completely and it would last for a couple of hours, however the charge only lasted around 40 minutes. So now we have a horrible, non working weedeater on our hands. If you ask me that is preying on the elderly for financial exploration and is punishable under California penal code 368 for up to 4 years.I will persevere this matter until we get justice for the matter regarding the injustice in the way we were so calloused treated.I don't know where you guys moral compass is,or if you ever had one in the first place!!

If it was unused and able to be resold, they should return the money. If it was used, even once, they will only exchange for same item.

Bad item and bad customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought an ms271 stihl chainsaw that had a 2 year warranty on it, started to give me problems since day one, took back to them they said its just a carburetor adjustment, then started to give me problems again, They said the piston scorched and its not on warranty I swear I maintained that chainsaw to the max. Now they want to charge me 65 because I took it to them. They said thats not on warranty either

If you need any part, good luck.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Twice I've needed a part that broke. It can take a couple months to receive it. My weed eater had a broken part, and based on my last experience with a broken part, it can take up to and maybe more than two weeks. My weeds are high and I guess they expect you to buy a new one?

They tell people they are made in the USA which is a lie they are made in China n Japan and assembled here . When I bought those weed eaters and they wouldn't hardly run I took them to the place I bought them from and the guy tried for an hour to adjust the carb and he couldn't get them to do anything. Stilh is now made put of plastic even some of the beri is are plastic. I've sealed with stilh for 50 years they use to be good now a piece of junk that false advertises

Second time Ive taken my chainsaw in for a part overheating and breaking the chain tightener the vendor decided to sharpen the blade and supposedly straighten the bar and wants to charge me $60 was never discussed. Was only there for the repair under the warranty and then complained about how they were not being paid for what they really did Totaling $190 very unprofessional and still waiting to find out the results before picking up my chainsaw from customer service

Stopped pumping. Cheap plastic valves broke under warranty Stihl refused to cover, said unit was frozen, it was stored in Gainesville Florida. Joe Signs Power and Stihl Tech playing games passing responsibility. Customer service is in India, don't hold your breath if you think they stand behind their low grade equipment.

Gouging price increase rediculous amount honor the price before the increase or kiss Stihl good bye . Stihl does not offer a live person to talk to in customer service another reason to not purchase a Stihl . Talk to the dealer and their comment was Stihl has not turned out to be the company they started out being and they are evaluating their continued sales of Stihl products
