I purchased a stihi saw last week and he paid more money for the saw in store. And it was a smaller saw.
I called to return the he saw same day, but I couldnt because the salesman put gas in it to demonstrate.
Well it would helpful if they told him no return. I am upset about the sale.

Awful. The phone number I got was a US one, and I'm in Canada.
The customer service person gave me supposedly the Canadian number, which happened to be an e-commerce number/scam.
I managed to find another number, and the person there explained to me, on my third call, that the customer service is managed by dealerships in Quebec.
When I found a dealer, it was not the case. So, I'm stuck with my rusty, brand-new, Swiss-made Felco pruners.

I have a STIHL 029 THAT WAS PURCHASED 20-25 YEARS AGO. IT IS STILL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
MY CHAIN SPROCKET BROKE AND I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A REPLACEMENT SPROCKET. WHILE HAVING NO LUCK AT THE LOCAL STIHL DEALERSHIPS I CALLED STIHL CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I DISCOVERED THAT REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR MY SAW ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
I WAS GIVEN THREE PARTS DEALERSHIPS TO CALL TO SEEI IF I CAN FiND THIS PART. I'm JUST FRUSTRATED THAT NO SERVICE PARTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE.

I spent over 500 dollars on a brush cutter for a mix engine. They said they started it in the back room.
Then, they brought it out, saying it runs every single time. Since day one, when I've tried to start it, I've had to yank on the cord so many times.
It almost feels like I'm going to yank the powerhead off the shaft. It's been that way since I bought it.
- One of the top three best power tools made
- Difficult to get a straight answer from anyone involved with still starting from the ace hardware where i bought it all the way to calling technicians on the phone
Preferred solution: Repair my tool or a straight answer instead of all this double talk I get from your technicians and your sales people, but definitely fix my tool as I paid to qualify for the extra warranty by buying the gallons of fuel mix

I have been having trouble with the string since I bought it. I spend more time having the trimmer work.
I understand there is only a three-month warranty on the string mechanism. I do not recommend this product.
It is inferior and I can't believe it is made in the USA. I can't even cut my weeds which are growing.

Dissatisfaction with FSA 45. Bladed break easily.
Hard to replace the blades.
I'm very disappointed. I like that it's lightweight and easy to charge but I'm unable to use it
User's recommendation: Do not get blades. Buy a product which you buy more easily. Home Depot or Lowe’s
Problems with product
Used 4 hours total brand new I even use the Stihl pre mixed fuel these smaller Stihl saws are absolute junk ran good during and after break in period now after it runs for about 10 minutes I have to give it a break once it cools down it'll run again I've had multiple brand saws and never had a brand new saw run this bad I have a Husqvarna 18 in 440 for bigger projects had for years other than usual maintenance 0 problems

Drive train is not working properly. Parts on backorder possibly 2 months.
Told to keep using it. Concered about causing more damage.
I have only used the mower about 8 times. Can I just get a new mower?

This company is a joke; you can't buy parts online, can't find them, and they don't deal with customers directly. Been on a hunt for weeks for a set of replacement blades.
Called all over and Stihl can't tell us if anyone has them or where to locate them.
Don't buy a disposable mower because for $6k you can't even use it! POS company!

My chainsaw stopped running
My boy just bought this chainsaw for me for Christmas. It was running yesterday but started getting hot, so I shut it down.

Over priced POS
I bought an over $200 POS trimmer. It never trimmed a single bush. Cuts out the moment it goes sideways which is how you trim bushes.

Stihl weedeater bad experience
My dear 80 year old husband who is on oxygen 24/7 bought a weedeater for $129 at Valle Vista home center.He got back and realized the weedeater was too small and inadequate for the huge weeds to tackle.I took it back to Valle Vista still brand new and receipt that he paid for in cash.The management team said they could return his money but subsequently stated that Stihl would not give a refund.Valle Vista told us to charge it completely and it would last for a couple of hours,however the charge only lasted around 40 minutes.So now we have a horrible,non working weedeater on our hands. If you ask me that is preying on the elderly for financial exploration and is punishable under California penal code 368 for up to 4 years.I will persevere this matter until we get justice for the matter regarding the injustice in the way we were so calloused treated.I don't know where you guys moral compass is,or if you ever had one in the first place!!

don't know who told you you only had a 3 month warranty on your string head but they've got rocks for brains. Bring it to a good Stihl dealer and they'll fix it for you or give you a new one
