Living in the Country is not helped by greedy corporate companies not doing their job! I bought a battery chain saw for an urgent job Cut up trees, and since it is outside live electricity range I bought a battery chainsaw from Stihl! Bad mistake Batteries come uncharged and the charger did not work! This was it turns out a blower charger and it was dead! Did not work, suspect another leaf blower customer returned it and got the chainsaw charger! ACE Weatherford (pronounced wetherfird!) cant get a replacement for 10 days! Stihl Customer service awful first off you cant get anyone! Called three times to leave voicemail, no replies Stihl does not have a call you back leave a number automated system, in 2020? With millions of Americans out of work if they cant afford an automated call you back system telephone system hire some more people ! Flipping Germans! Yes we just had 75th anniversary of the war! Dont mention it but this is one reason we won! No customer service from deutchesland Uber makes!So no call back from Sunday through Tuesday! Dont buy STIHL, great store presentation useless follow up and chainsaw only good for an ashtray without working battery! You bet I am not happy and cant totally blame Ace Hardware....but really....if you want to get into battery powered chain saws get a supply of chargers in every dealership! What a fiasco!

Terrible customer service

Our battery charger that is only 6 months old stopped working. Noone at Stihl can or will help us. Been given 4 different numbers to call.

This Farm Boss Chainsaw is no good and Ace Hardeare in superior Wisconsin is not good business to deal with

Bought a Farm Boss chainsaw from ace hardware and it has bee back in this will be the 2 time and only have had it 1 1/2 and when I called ace hardware in superior Wisconsin they told me they was gonna call the police on me because I ask for my money

Ms 194 will not start when warm

This saw since I bought it will not run when warm very hard start then shut off. Still should have a 24\7 customer service line there are emergencies

BG 56C Blower

Haven't heard from stihl and don't expect to since they could care less, 5 stihls I've purchased, but not again

Bought a BG56c blower, 1st time using it, it did not seem to run at full throttle, went back to store and was told by mechanic with attitude that nothing was wrong with it and that Stihl didn't make as good as they use to, went to salesman purchased it from and he also said it is what it is, that Stihl just didn't make them like they use to, I just wonder what management of the company thinks of that, name does say steal... steal...Look somewhere else

Got to big for the panties they wear

The big box store is a lie the territory managers treat the dealers like crap un less you seem to be John Deere or cal ranch. Dont buy into stihl lies on tv its only a gimmic

Stihl Chainsaw 250 is JUNK!!!!! Do NOT purchase

I bought the STIHL Chainsaw 250 for my husband in October. It stays in the shop. It will not oil the bar and chain. They have yet to fix the problem. They tell me its running properly every time I pick it up only for me to find it doing the exact same thing over and over. I am so tired of carrying this POS back to the Ace Hardware store that I could literally scream!!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SAW!!!!!!!!!

Scam danger. Dishonest advertising

I am appalled that you allow scams to use your product on line and ruin your reputation. The battery chainsaw that I ordered and got cheated on convinces me to stay away from your products in the future.

I bought brush cutter commercial one and doesn't work from first time and when I went to the shop tried to fix it temporary and same problem happened and I went again today and they said to me it's faulty from factory.but they did not want to replace it .I ought it less than one month

Registraion

Purchased a battery operated blower at Ace hardware in Ellington, FL. Attempted to register at the store, system said it was down, talked with a staff member he/she indicated it should operating in the next couple days. I was given an 800 number. I tried to communicate with the person on the other end. He told me I had to register at the store, he finally registered, I asked for a conformation of registration, I was told to go back to the store. Find a store which communicates with the manufacture.

Saw was refurbished (local rep claims this is an "upgrade" and "custom", but he is also likely the original person blocking fixing this situation, sadly all companies have a few bad apples - I hope Stihl fixes this one - thankfully they overruled him).

After extensive back and forth, Stihl reversed their decision and requested to repair the saw - their higher ups were so concerned about this saw failing that they requested the damaged parts be sent to their manufacturing facility to be inspected by their engineers.It...

Replace power head with new unit as this appears to be a manufacture defect, repair is effectively forcing me to buy a refurbished unit for the price of new as I have essentially not used this saw as 2hrs 17min includes test firing by shop prior to sale

Our family has recently lost everything we own due to our home catching fire. We own a logging company and had all of our chainsaws burn along with everything we own. My fiancé is most devasted that his Stihl Ms440 was lost. We have 4 kids, 2,4,15,20 Im reaching out to see if you guys can offer any kind of discount or anything at all to help us. Without a chainsaw its impossible for us to keep our business up and running and due to not having insurance we are at a complete loss right now and cant find any way to start towards our recovery.

Won't buy again

Bought in 2014, have taken great care of it, only used Stihl oil in it, used to cut up our own recreational firewood took it in for oil leaking was told it would cost $200 to fix so you might as well buy a new one
