It will not start. First experience was it started fine but try and cut down a small tree, you have to move the machine to horizontal.

Every time I did that it quit. Would restart but tip it and it would quit. Took it in to local Dealer, said the fuel line was kinked in the tank. Not covered by Warranty and charged for repair.

The last two times, it would not start. Now dealing with Darrell at complaints department, says take it to a Dealer. They have so far stated their corporate line of take to a Dealer but never addressed the first issue. I asked for an upgrade and was willing to pay retail difference.

Totally ignored. Expect the same at next Dealer!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: upgrade to a new machine.

The thing is, the really good name brands seem to have taken a real noise dive. I have been into the problems for a little while through other manufacturers of small engine issues.

My motor was a 32cc, a press fit gear on the crank split, throwing timing out and making running anything from intermit. to nothing at all. Also with little hours of work/runtime.

Out of warranty time limit. Let us go over to Q&A

Stihl is not what it used to be. Find another brand of chainsaw.
